Simon & Schuster Australia is delighted to announce the acquisition of a new romance series from Kat T. Masen, USA Today bestselling author of the Dark Love series and founder of special-edition romance bookshop Books Ever After in Bowral, NSW. Anthea Bariamis has acquired world rights for two novels in Masen’s new small-town billionaire romance series.

In 2025, Simon & Schuster Australia will publish How to Break My Heart, the first book in the series. The novel will follow small-town café owner Eva Woods as she navigates planning her best friend’s wedding. The problem? She has to partner up with tech CEO Aston Beaumont, the bride’s older brother and Eva’s sworn enemy.
