About The Book

Best mates Teddy and Alice are hired hands with flexible moral boundaries. Whatever the mess, they can be relied upon to fix it with no questions asked. But sometimes it's not as simple as cleaning up.

Teddy is searching the suburbs for a missing teenager with her occasional sidekick Art, while Alice's mission is to drive one of Australia's richest men along Victoria's east coast to his final resting place before anybody finds out he's dead. But when a surprise revelation sees their cases collide, Teddy and Alice turn the tables on their wealthy employers to shake out the truth.

Unbury the Dead is a superbly fresh and pacey high-stakes drama with two irresistible heroines.

About The Author

Fiona Hardy knew she wanted to be a writer when she was in Grade One and got too many compliments for an underwhelming retelling of Alice in Wonderland. She loves books so much that she sells them, writes them, and has published reviews for them too. Her first book, How to Make a Movie in 12 Days, was a CBCA Notable book and shortlisted for the Speech Pathology Book of the Year Award. Her second book, How to Write the Soundtrack to Your Life, won the 2021 Children's Peace Literature Award.

Fiona lives in Melbourne with a bunch of guitars, a keyboard, a clarinet, a violin, a harmonica and an accordion. Oh, and her partner, daughter, and cat. (The cat doesn't play any of the instruments. Yet.)

'The narrative is great ... but the highlight for me is the two main characters. Their strength, their questionable morals, their bond and love for each other, and their flaws. If you are a fan of Australian crime novels you will enjoy this'. - Good Reading

'I knew Unbury the Dead was going to be a fabulous read and it didn't let me down'. - The Weekend Australian
