This volume, edited by Tesla’s contemporary, Thomas Commerford Martin, includes extensive discussion of Tesla’s early work and inventions and contains more than 300 illustrations that demonstrate the practical application of his ideas. Tesla, who was born in what is now Croatia, is best known for his research into the use of high-frequency alternating currents and wireless transmission.
