About The Author

A master of the weird and influence on authors from H.P. Lovecraft to Ramsey Campbell, Algernon Blackwood (1869–1951) was a prolific writer of the supernatural. After assorted motley jobs, from Canada to New York, he returned to England where he wrote 14 novels, some plays and a multitude of short fiction, such as ‘The Willows’ and ‘The Wendigo’.
