Johannes Egberts is a leading breathwork and cold-water immersion coach. He was born in the Netherlands and arrived in Australia at 18 with only the clothes on his back. He had a challenging childhood and adolescence and experienced significant mental health issues. Over the years he tried a variety of techniques such as yoga, meditation and medication, but nothing worked until he met world breathwork expert Wim Hof. Since then, Johannes has committed his life’s work to the pursuit of peak human health and performance. Currently based in Sydney, Johannes is the founder of Breathless, a leading adventure travel and education organisation, sits on the board of wellness and performance programs for some of Australia’s largest companies and works with sports teams including the NZ NRL Warriors and NZ Ferns. He also works with professionals such as Wim Hof, Professor Marc Cohen, Ludovico Einaudi and David Goggins to name a few. Johannes has been on the forefront of the breathwork industry in Australia and worldwide for the last five years teaching thousands of people through workshops, retreats and programs tailored to every environment imaginable.
