Raves and Reviews

“I wish Carol Ann Caronia had written Strategic Moves thirty years ago when I first embarked on my teaching career. She would have saved me a mountain of anguish as I navigated working with young minds. The book is filled with the teaching wisdom that only comes with experience. We each have to make discoveries on our own, to bring our individual patterns and structures to the classroom, but how much better to begin with a quiver full of arrows that strike home every time. Carol Ann shows how to humanize and dignify the emotion-laden and cerebrally challenging mine-field of scholastic chess.”
