About The Illustrators
CJ Cannon is a self-taught artist living in Nashville, Tennessee. When they're not working on comics, outside riding their bike, or drumming, they're almost always in the house drawing fan art.
Kyle Starks is a two-time Eisner-nominated comic creator from Southern Indiana. He is best known as the longest tenured writer and occasional artist for Oni Press's Rick and Morty comic. He was nominated for Eisners for Sexcastle and Rock Candy Mountain for Best Humor Publication.
Marc Ellerby is a comic book illustrator from the UK. He is probably most known for his work on the Rick and Morty comics from Oni Press and [adult swim]. He has worked with companies such as Disney, Warner Bros., BBC, Hasbro and Cartoon Network. However, he is never as happy when he is drawing his own comics such as Chloe Noonan: Monster Hunter or the autobiographical diary comic Ellerbisms.
Erica Hayes has been working as a professional storyboard artist for four years, and has worked on all three seasons of Rick and Morty™. This is her first professional comic gig, for which she is very excited! Erica lives in LA with her boyfriend, Spencer, and two cats, Marcy and Finn.
Rii Abrego is a Latina illustrator who resides in the very green, very humid southern USA. She is an admirer of big bugs and a magnet for stray cats. The Sprite and the Gardener is her debut original graphic novel.
Katy Farina is a comic artist and illustrator based in Los Angeles, CA. She's currently a background painter at Dreamworks TV. In the past, she's done work with Boom! Studios, Oni Press, and Z2 Publishing. In the rare instance she isn't working on comics, she moonlights as the Baba Yaga; enticing local youth into ethical dilemmas and scooting around in her chicken-legged hut.
Jarrett Williams was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. He attended the Savannah College of Art and Design (BFA & MFA in sequential art). In addition to his pro-wrestling/adventure series Super Pro K.O.! (Oni Press), he wrote and drew History Comics Hip-Hop: The Beat of America (MacMillan). He is currently drawing his kids detective graphic novel series, Harper Sharp (Random House Graphic). He loves classic JRPGs and draws his comics traditionally. He can even draw Rick Sanchez with his eyes closed now!
Sabrina Mati was born and raised in Chatsworth, California. Being passionate about drawing and cartoons for all her life, she pursued Media Arts and Animation at the Art Institute of Hollywood and studied on weekends over at Concept Design Academy. While graduating in 2013, Sabrina landed her first gig in animation as an intern on Adventure Time and soon landed her first official job in production on Uncle Grandpa at Cartoon Network. She then worked on shows such as Rick and Morty Seasons 2 and 3, HBO Animals, and HarmonQuest as a character designer. She and a couple other colleagues currently have a podcast on YouTube called Animation Success Stories, where they interview animation industry professionals on how they got to where they are today.
