Retrievals is the debut memoir from English comedian and actor Tony Slattery, a frank and candid look at his career, his experiences of living with bipolar disorder and his struggles with drug addiction.

Tony Slattery bravely shared his experiences for the first time in the 2020 BBC documentary What’s the Matter with Tony Slattery?, and now the comedian, famously known for his off the cuff improvisation on Whose Line Is it Anyway?, is finally putting pen to paper. In the book, Tony takes the reader on a journey through his life and career, from growing up Catholic in a working-class family in north London to joining the Cambridge Footlights alongside Hugh Laurie, Emma Thompson, Sandi Toksvig and Richard Vranch and embarking on a successful comedy career.
