About The Author

Kate Sheridan is a nonbinary comic creator from Philadelphia. Their work has been published by BOOM! Studios, Abrams, and others, as well featured in various anthologies. They love all things fantasy and folklore, tabletop RPGs, and birds.

About The Illustrator

Born in 1992 in Ancona, Italy, Gaia Cardinali graduated from the Academy of Fine Art in Bologna with a concentration in Comics & Illustration in 2015. She published her first graphic novel Viktoria with Italian publisher Tunué, which won her the Romic’s 2018 Best New Talent Award and Treviso Comic Book Festival’s 2018 Best Comics for Young Adults Award. She’s also worked on properties like Disney’s Mulan with Dark Horse. Her next graphic novel La Leonessa di Dordona releases April 2021 from Tunué.
