About The Book

Scare yourself silly with this look at the Halloween franchise with interviews of the actors who made all the horror film classics that have scared generations.

Happy Halloween, Michael. Horror in Haddonfield: Halloween’s Untold Stories, by Horror Obsessive founder and crackerjack fright geek Andrew Grevas, unmasks the secrets behind all thirteen of the films in horror’s oldest and longest running slasher franchise. Combining essays and interviews with the casts and creative teams, Grevas uncomplicates complicated timelines, dishes on the films that were planned but never made it to the screen, and reveals never-heard-before stories about the making of the movies. Evil never dies, and nor does horror fans’ fascination with Laurie Strode, Dr. Samuel Loomis, and of course legendary psychopath Michael Myers, whom Vox has dubbed “horror’s most implacable killer.” Includes interviews with actors Ellie Cornell, Danielle Harris, Scout Taylor-Compton, Stacey Nelkin, Dee Wallace, and Tom Atkins; writers Paul Brad Logan, Dan Farrands, Robert Zappia, Shem Bitterman; director Dwight Little; cinematographer Dean Cundey and many more.

About The Author

Andrew Grevas is a writer and journalist based out of Cincinnati, where he resides with his wife and sons. Andrew is the founder of multiple websites, including 25YL and Horror Obsessive, and is perhaps best known for his interviews, which span multiple subjects and publications. Prior to launching 25YL, Andrew was a broadcast journalist in the wild world of professional wrestling. When he’s not writing or transcribing interviews, Andrew can be found coaching youth soccer, going on paranormal investigations with his wife, or obsessing over all things spooky.
