Michael Holmes comes from the parks and malls of Alphabet City, Ontario's socio-economic / linguistic experiment gone awry: Bramalea. He now lives in Toronto, where he is currently a writer, editor, and reviewer completing a Ph.D. in English at York University. His poetry and prose have been published in numerous journals in the U.S. and Canada. got no flag at all is his first book of poetry.
