About The Book

Discover three wondrous fairy tales from the world of Critical Role, translated from the original Zemnian and presented in a gorgeous storybook fit to grace any archmage's library.

From the cold regions of the Zemni Fields, where the Dwendalian Empire was born, come three fairy tales told to children on the most frigid winter nights. From the heartwarming Der Katzenprinz to the chilling Waldhexe to the tales of the Flying City, these stories have been faithfully translated from their original Zemnian tellings and are beautifully captured in charming art. Ornamented with a double-sided and beautifully illustrated jacket, gold trim, and a ribbon bookmark, this one-of-a-kind illustrated fairy tale book will sweep you away to the farmlands of Blumenthal and beyond, where children and adults alike recount these tales with wonder.

GORGEOUS ORIGINAL ART: Each story is brought to life by never-before-seen original art that captures the beauty of classic fairy tale books.

PERFECT FOR ALL AGES: These enchanting tales and rich illustrations captivate a wide audience of all ages, whether you’re a soldier’s son from Blumenthal or a joyous healer from Nicodranas.

STUNNING COLLECTIBLE: The gold trim and ribbon bookmark ornament this collectible book, and the dust jacket unfolds to unveil a one-of-a-kind landscape illustration ready for display.

About The Illustrator

Charlie Borovsky, also known as “Newt,” is a queer fantasy illustrator based in Prague, Czechia. Inspired by local folklore and the stories of old, he likes to bring the same dark fairytale wonder into his own art. No matter if it is through painting for books and TTRPGs or playing D&D at a table with friends, Newt loves to tell and immerse others in stories.
