About The Authors

His previous books include Bob Flowerdew’s Complete Fruit Book, The No-Work Garden, The Gourmet Gardener, Going Organic, Grow Your Own, Eat Your Own, and the Bob’s Basics series of mini-books.

Jekka McVicar is a British horticulturalist who has been called 'The Queen of Herbs' and is well known for her regular appearances on TV, on radio gardening programs, and for her columns in The Guardian. She has been awarded 59 Royal Horticultural Society gold medals for her herb nursery, Jekka's Herb Farm, and in 2016 was named their Ambassador for health and well-being through gardening. She is author of The Complete Herb Book, Jekka's Herb Cookbook and co-author of The Complete Book of Vegetables, Herbs and Fruit.
