About The Book

Life’s too short…but she’s not. At 4’11”, Kristin Chenoweth is famous for creating the role of Galinda the Good Witch in the smash musical Wicked. She’s also been a regular on shows like The West Wing, Pushing Daisies, and Sesame Street , costarred in numerous movies, recorded three successful studio albums, and most recently—with the hardcover publication of A Little Bit Wicked —become a bestselling author..

In this lively, laugh-out-loud book (with a new epilogue by the author in this paperback edition), Kristin shares her journey from Oklahoma beauty queen to Broadway leading lady, reflecting on how faith and family have kept her grounded in the dysfunctional rodeo of showbiz. Through a combination of talent, hard work, and (she’s quick to add) the grace of God, Kristin has succeeded in a famously unforgiving industry—with her small-town charm and warmth intact. Whether she’s sharing Cool Aunt Kristin’s Advice to Young Actors, her essential list of Questions for God When I Meet Him, or the recipe for her famous Chenolicious No-Calorie-Left-Behind-Pie, this thoroughly original and wildly entertaining book will find a whole new audience in paperback..

Filled with wit, wisdom, and backstage insight, A Little Bit Wicked is an essential read for Kristin’s legions of fans and an uplifting story for anyone seeking motivation to follow their dreams..
